About The Position

Welo Data is hiring detail-oriented and reliable Arabic-speaking Data Labeling Analysts to support speech and voice AI systems. This high-impact, production-focused role involves working with audio, speech, and language data to help build accurate, well-structured, and representative datasets for real-world AI systems. The work requires sound judgment, attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to maintain quality across repetitive workflows. The position is a full-time W2 employee role, 40 hours per week, paid at $28 per hour. It is 100% onsite, with no remote work available. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be located in or able to commute to one of the listed locations: NYC, Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Burlingame, Los Angeles, Washington DC, or Boston.

Requirements

Native-level fluency in Arabic.
Strong written communication skills and language fundamentals.
One year of work experience in data labeling, annotation, or content-focused work, or a bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification in a related field.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and apply guidelines consistently.
High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in repetitive tasks.
Comfort working in structured, process-driven environments.
Ability to manage time effectively and maintain steady output.
Willingness to ask questions and escalate when needed.
U.S. work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available.
Must be located in or able to commute to one of the listed cities.

Responsibilities

Evaluate AI model outputs and provide structured, high-quality feedback.
Perform audit-based reviews of data and model behavior, identifying patterns, edge cases, and failure modes.
Apply guidelines thoughtfully and flag cases where guidelines do not reflect real-world scenarios.
Contribute to improving evaluation frameworks.
Identify trends in model performance and communicate insights clearly.
Participate in team discussions, calibrations, and stakeholder syncs.
Partner with leads and cross-functional teams to refine quality standards.
Document findings clearly, concisely, and actionably.
