About The Position

StyleKorean Inc., operated by SILICON2 Co., Ltd., is a leading global distributor of Korean beauty products, offering a wide range of skincare, makeup, and beauty brands to international markets. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage the financial health of our distribution operations. In this role, you will focus heavily on complex payment processing, comprehensive account reconciliation (including National Accounts and retail stores), and cross-functional deduction management with our Sales team.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2-3+ years of proven experience with accounting functions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Background check required after a conditional offer is made, in accordance with applicable laws

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Korean and English is preferred, as this role involves communication with our Korean-speaking headquarters, clients, and vendors.

Responsibilities

Process and apply all payments (ACH, checks, CC) in the ERP system, focusing on high-volume National Accounts and daily retail store reconciliations.
Track short pays and chargebacks.
Collaborate with the Sales team to investigate disputes, and apply approved credits in the system once resolved.
Audit system-generated invoices for accuracy, dates, and contract pricing (Note: Sales team handles direct distribution to clients).
Monitor AR aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts to reduce DSO, and escalate unresolved issues.
Generate AR metrics for management, support month/year-end financial close, and assist with audits.
Performing other duties as required.
