Requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
Experience with accounting software, Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus
Dependable and ability to maintain professional demeanor at all times
Maintain professional relationships with all levels of management
Ability to communicate effectively both written and oral
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Associates Degree in Accounting (or relevant field of study) or equivalent in private sector accounting or bookkeeping experience
2-4 years related work experience

Responsibilities

Compile and review billing information
Create and review sales orders
Monitor project invoicing cycle
Create invoices
Post cash receipts
Client collections
AR account and deposit reconciliations
Respond to customer and internal inquiries.
Research billing and customer payment discrepancies
Generate accounting statements and reports
Assist in month-end and annual close
General ledger review and reconciliations
Other duties/projects as assigned
