Who You Are The Entry-Level AR/AP Administrator supports the day-to-day accounts receivable and accounts payable functions of the company. This role helps ensure invoices, payments, and financial records are processed accurately and on time. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in accounting or finance within a small business environment. Training and guidance will be provided. What You'll Do Accounts Payable (AP) Assist with processing vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, as needed Help prepare weekly or bi-weekly payments (checks or electronic payments) Maintain organized vendor records and documentation Respond to basic vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payment status Support 1099 preparation and recordkeeping, as applicable Accounts Receivable (AR) Assist with generating and sending customer invoices Record customer payments (checks, ACH, credit cards, etc.) Help monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on past-due accounts Communicate with customers to help resolve billing or payment questions Maintain accurate customer account records General Accounting & Administrative Support Answer phones, greet visitors, and manage office supplies Small parcel package shipping via UPS/Fedex/ USPS Maintain organized and accurate financial files and records Assist with basic reconciliations related to AR and AP Support month-end and year-end closing activities Help gather documentation for audits or internal reviews Follow company policies and basic accounting procedures Work closely with team members to support daily operations Learn and suggest ways to improve processes over time What You Bring Education & Experience High school diploma required; coursework or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply Internship, coursework, or 0–2 years of related experience is a plus but not required Skills & Competencies Basic understanding of accounting or willingness to learn Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel Ability to learn accounting software (training provided) Good organizational and time-management skills Clear written and verbal communication skills Professional handling of confidential information Dependable, motivated, and eager to grow What We Offer On-the-job training and mentorship Exposure to multiple areas of accounting Opportunity for growth within a small business Supportive and collaborative work environment What We Offer What We Offer Salary Range 55k-60k On-the-job training and mentorship Exposure to multiple areas of accounting Opportunity for growth within a small business Supportive and collaborative work environment #IND1
