About The Position

As a part-time Aquatics Lead, you will play a key role in keeping our aquatic facility safe, clean, and operating at its best. You will help oversee daily pool operations, ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for members, support engaging aquatic programs, and maintain high standards throughout the facility. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for career growth and industry certifications.

Requirements

Certified Pool Operator certification within 60 days of hire.
Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
High School Diploma or GED.
Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
Basic understanding of water chemistry and public pool sanitation practices.

Nice To Haves

Willing to obtain Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification within 30-60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Responsible for safety, member engagement, and the quality of the aquatic programs during your shifts.
Responsible for pool deck maintenance and aquatic facility supervision.
Monitor patrons using the facility and enforce/explain rules as necessary.
Respond appropriately to any emergency situations.
Track and monitor pool chemistry results and report facility issues to Aquatics Manager and General Manager.
Provide leadership to facility cleaning, pool deck maintenance, and aquatic program supervision.
Assist Aquatics Manager with staff communications and attend all required staff meetings and trainings.
Provide customer service and communication with members.
Other duties as needed/assigned.
