This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Aquatics Department Coordinator ensures smooth day-to-day operations of the Aquatics Department, maintains a safe and exciting environment for employees and patrons, and handles emergency situations in accordance with YMCA protocol. The Aquatics Department Coordinator provides direction to aquatics staff and contributes to high member retention by providing effective leadership, problem-solving skills, and exemplary service to members. Schedule & Availability Requirements This position requires dependable, consistent availability during morning hours and on Saturdays. Candidates should be able to work weekday morning shifts, typically between 5:00 AM and 9:00 AM, based on scheduling and operational needs. Shift times may vary due to programming, staffing, or seasonal demand, so flexibility is important. We are looking for someone reliable, punctual, and ready to support our busiest morning hours.
