About The Position

Pool Pros Mgmt, a leader in aquatic facility management for over 40 years, is seeking dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious professionals to join their Aquatic Facilities Support Team. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining clean, organized, professional, and inspection-ready aquatic environments, focusing on equipment room cleanliness, filter maintenance, facility inspections, reporting, and overall infrastructure appearance. The role is performed primarily in commercial pool equipment rooms and mechanical areas, directly impacting operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and Florida Department of Health (FDOH) compliance. This position is considered a safety-sensitive role and serves as an entry point into the aquatics industry with potential for advancement.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and ability to satisfy company vehicle insurance requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English sufficient to safely perform assigned duties and complete required documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining individual accountability.
  • Willingness to learn commercial pool equipment, filtration systems, aquatic facility operations, and applicable safety procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train motivated candidates who demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain clean, organized, professional, and inspection-ready equipment rooms and aquatic support areas in support of company standards and FDOH compliance readiness.
  • Perform scheduled filter cleaning and preventative housekeeping activities.
  • Clean aquatic equipment, plumbing systems, pumps, filters, feeders, controllers, and related equipment to maintain professional appearance and cleanliness standards.
  • Inspect exposed plumbing, equipment pads, directional flow markings, and support systems for cleanliness, organization, visibility, and overall presentation in support of operational and regulatory readiness.
  • Paint, maintain, and restore Florida code-required directional flow arrows, equipment identification markings, and related operational signage as directed.
  • Assist with maintaining safe, clean, and organized chemical storage and containment areas.
  • Complete assigned inspections, photographs, reports, and documentation accurately and timely in accordance with company standards.
  • Support pool operators, technicians, inspectors, and management personnel with operational tasks and special projects.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and professional condition.
  • Follow company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
  • Provide professional and courteous interactions with customers, property staff, and coworkers.
