About The Position

Duties include performing lifeguarding tasks as required by certifying agencies; assuring prevention of incidents at aquatic facilities and constant readiness to proceed as a first responder; conducting instructional programs; providing first responder support at special events as needed; and handling pool maintenance tasks and facility cleaning. Duties also include answering the telephone, greeting visitors, and providing information and assistance to patrons.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 to be hired
• Able to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance
• Current Lifeguarding, First Aid and CPR certification required prior to hire
