About The Position

Under general supervision, will perform duties such as safety enforcement, greeting patrons, and janitorial services. This is a Part Time position.

Requirements

• Basic Aquatic facility structure.
• English usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Work independently in the absence of supervision.
• Respond to requests and inquiries from the public.
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
• Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following: Swimming requirements to maintain ability to assist with Learn to Swim Lessons.
• General lifting of no more than 50 pounds with assistance of other employees.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders to elevated guard chairs.
• Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for making observations, communicating with others, reading, and writing.
• Maintain physical condition necessary for operating assigned equipment, walking, standing, kneeling, repeated bending or sitting for prolonged periods of time and lifting to 50 pounds.
• Maintain mental capacity which allows the capability of making sound decisions demonstrating intellectual capabilities.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) or more years of customer service experience
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification

Responsibilities

• Enforce facility rules to ensure a safe environment.
• Assist with Learn to Swim Lessons.
• Check pool deck area for hazards by completing pool safety checklist and reporting/documenting any/all unsafe conditions found.
• Pick up and dispose of all trash on/or around the pool deck and on facility grounds, straighten all deck furniture as needed.
• Return any lost and found equipment or items to the front desk personnel.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
