About The Position
HealthFitness is seeking enthusiastic Swim Instructors to join our Aquatics Team in Downers Grove, IL. In this Sunday role (1:45–6:00 p.m.), you’ll deliver fun, safe, and confidence‑building swim instruction for children through private and small‑group lessons—designing personalized programs that help every young swimmer thrive. This position is open for part-time (working approximately 5 hours per week).
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years old.
- Adult & Child CPR/AED certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days.
- Must have a strong swim background.
- Proficiency in all swim strokes.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing effective and safe swim instruction to adults and children participating in private or small group lessons.
- Design individualized programs to meet the participant's interests, abilities, and goals.
