About The Position
The Washington City Community Center is seeking an Aqua Aerobics Instructor. This position involves leading water aerobics classes and requires a passion for fitness and helping others achieve their health goals. The role is part-time and offers a wage of $20 - $30 per hour, depending on experience (DOE). As per Washington City policy, a background check and drug screening evaluation will be required for potential new hire candidates prior to an offer of employment. If the candidate is under 18, parental or legal guardian permission is required for these screenings.
Requirements
- Current First Aid certification.
- Current CPR certification.
- Aqua aerobics certification or related fitness instructor certification (or must obtain within the first six months of hire).
- Previous teaching experience is required if seeking training for certification.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must pass a drug screening evaluation.
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of group fitness instruction is preferable.
