About The Position
The Aqua Aerobics Instructor is responsible for the design, preparation, and delivery of open-format group aqua aerobics classes. Under the supervision of the Fitness Manager, the instructor will create engaging, safe, and effective workouts tailored to a diverse participant base. This role requires current certification from a nationally recognized fitness organization, with a strong preference for credentials in Aqua Aerobics instruction.
Requirements
- Current certification from a nationally recognized fitness organization (e.g., AEA, SCW, or equivalent).
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR/AED certification or ability to gain CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Credentials in Aqua Aerobics instruction.
- Previous experience teaching group fitness classes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible availability.
