About The Position

This role is for an APX Project Sourcing and Procurement Specialist who will perform key activities to ensure supply continuity for specific commodities. The specialist will report to the APX Sourcing & Procurement Manager and work towards organizational goals in cost, quality, delivery, and reliability. Responsibilities include supporting active projects, updating status, removing roadblocks, and escalating issues. The position is located at the Shoreview, MN facility on a hybrid basis (2 days a week) and reports to the Manager - AP1000 Electrical Category.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and Supply Chain Experience required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in project management of major technical projects.
• In-depth manufacturing, financial, and economic understanding of APX Supply Chain Products.
• Major program leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Support WBS 6 (Fuel and Material Handling) Teams for the APX department.
• Support efforts to develop nuclear qualified suppliers and act as the primary liaison between the APX WBS 6 project procurement team and the Shoreview Manufacturing facility.
• Develop working relationships with suppliers and internal partners to maintain sources of supply.
• Identify standard engineering, quality, and administrative issues, assisting with resolution to fulfill internal and external procurement requirements.
• Identify and obtain cost improvements of purchased materials and services.
• Obtain training and acquire additional knowledge to ensure compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements and enhance personal growth.
