About The Position

The APRN will be responsible for direct patient care and for other administrative duties as designated by the Medical Director and his/her designee and in accordance with the Arkansas Medical Practice Act and the Arkansas Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements

Master's degree in nursing required.
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license.
Current DEA Certification or eligible for certification.
Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

May have a certification as a Pediatric Nurse practitioner in either acute or primary care.

Responsibilities

Serves as family navigator under the direction of the Director of the FIN program.
Assists families in overcoming systems and patient/family-specific barriers to community and home-based health services in order to reduce disparities by shortening the interval between a positive screen and definitive diagnosis.
Engage with families anywhere along the continuum, from the point of initial developmental screening to referral for initial developmental evaluation, diagnostic evaluation, and access to appropriate intervention(s).
Schedule monthly Family-Centered Interdisciplinary Network virtual meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
