About The Position
Flaman is seeking a motivated Apprentice Agricultural Technician or Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic to join their growing service team. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to turn mechanical aptitude into a formal, certified trade. Flaman is committed to investing in the next generation of tradespeople, providing hands-on mentorship, on-the-job training, and sponsorship to help apprentices complete their program and become licensed technicians.
Requirements
- Natural curiosity for how things work and a solid foundation of mechanical knowledge.
- Commitment to an apprenticeship program and pride in pursuing a professional trade.
- Ability to work hard in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to listen well, follow safety protocols, and contribute to a successful shop culture.
Nice To Haves
- Possession of a Class 3 license.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of agricultural implements, trailers, and heavy equipment under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Gain practical experience in hydraulics, electrical systems, engine maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with shop organization, equipment assembly, and safety inspections.
- Engage in training modules and gain the shop hours necessary to advance through apprenticeship levels.
