About The Position

This position is reserved for Nunavik Inuit Beneficiary of the JBNQA. The position is based in Nunavik and follows a rotational work schedule of 4 paid weeks: 2 working weeks (77 hours per week, 7 days a week), followed by 2 paid weeks off. The masculine is used for the sole purpose of lightening the text and designates both the feminine and the masculine. Only the selected candidates for an interview will be called.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• Interest in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations;
• Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 45 lbs;
• Class 5 driver's license (territorial accepted).

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with the TI Guide;
• Knowledge of mining products;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
• Able to communicate orally and written in at least two of the following languages: Inuktitut, English or French (trilingual will be considered an asset).

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Apprentice supports daily warehouse operations.
• Receiving, inspecting, and storing materials;
• Verifying received goods against purchase orders and shipping documents;
• Recording inventory transactions in the inventory management system;
• Assisting with inventory counts and reporting discrepancies;
• Preparing and delivering materials to internal customers;
• Maintaining clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage areas;
• Following company health and safety policies and procedures;
• Performing other related duties as assigned.
