About The Position

This apprenticeship program is designed for school leavers (with or without graduation) to complete a structured vocational training in a specific technical subject, aiming for an acknowledged vocational certification. The program involves acquiring practical skills, collaborating with experienced staff, completing coursework and on-the-job training, and assisting with daily operational tasks. Apprentices will rotate through departments related to their trade to complete 8000 on-the-job training hours and related classroom instruction. They will work closely with a Journeyperson in maintaining production stamping tooling, developing prototype/production stamping dies, and programming, setting up, and running CNC equipment in a tool room environment. The role requires a highly motivated individual willing to learn and apply acquired skills.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a structured vocational training in a specific administrative or technical subject as a school leaver (with or without graduation), with the objective of getting an acknowledged vocational certification.
  • Engage in a structured vocational training program to acquire practical skills in a specific administrative or technical subject.
  • Collaborate with experienced staff to gain hands-on experience and knowledge relevant to the chosen field.
  • Complete required coursework and on-the-job training to achieve an acknowledged vocational certification.
  • Assist with daily operational tasks and contribute to team projects, utilizing theoretical knowledge in practical settings.
  • Prepare for assessments to obtain an acknowledged vocational certification upon completion of the program.
  • Rotate in departments related to the trade to complete 8000 on-the-job training hours and successfully complete related classroom instruction specific to the trade.
  • Work closely with a Journeyperson in maintaining production stamping tooling in a timely and efficient manner and developing prototype/production stamping dies.
  • Work closely with a Journeyperson in programming, set-up and running CNC equipment in a tool room environment.
