Land Rover Chandler, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is looking for an Apprentice Technician to join our team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences. As an Apprentice Technician, you will diagnose and perform repairs on all vehicle components under the direction of a senior or master Technician. Requirements

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A recent graduate of a vocational program in automotive repair.
  • Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

  • A.A or equivalent vocational certification in automotive repair.
  • A combination of education and experience to equal certification and one or more years' experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure our customers have a world-class service experience at every step along their ownership journey, especially in vehicle repairs.
  • Be a self-starter and problem-solve independently, while utilizing the knowledge and expertise of your mentor to advance your technical understanding and work experience.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate technical information regarding customer vehicles to Service Advisors.
  • Comply with all manufacturer standards of quality and timeliness for repairs and maintenance work, and ensure that all estimates and work orders are accurate.
  • Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations that affect shop operations, such as handling and disposal of hazardous waste, OSHA, and the use of safety and health personal protective equipment.
