About The Position

Canyon Creek Toyota has an exciting opportunity for a Level 1 Apprentice Technician to join our Toyota dealership. In this role, you will support our Service Department by assisting with vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs while continuing to build your skills as an Apprentice Technician. Working alongside Journeyperson and senior technicians, you will help ensure vehicles are serviced safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer and dealership standards. As a Toyota Apprentice Technician, you take pride in producing quality work, learning new skills, and contributing to a positive customer experience through reliable and professional service.

Requirements

Previous automotive shop or dealership experience is considered an asset
Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to continue learning
Valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles is an asset
Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and dependable
Comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive shop environment
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 60 pounds and standing for extended periods
High level of mobility, dexterity, and awareness when working around vehicles and shop equipment

Responsibilities

Assisting with vehicle maintenance, inspections, and repairs
Ensuring vehicles are serviced safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer and dealership standards
