Bosch Building Technologies is looking for a full-time Apprentice Technicians. The Apprentice Technician Installer program is just the first step in a rewarding career path that is ideal for someone who is wanting to get into the ICT (Information and Communications Technology) field but does not know where to start. This role requires little or no cabling experience and is perfect for someone who is ready to start pursuing a career in ICT Cabling distribution and is committed to learning the job tasks up to industry standards and codes. This position is responsible for assisting the Foreman in daily duties. Additionally, the Apprentice will be required to think outside of the box, exhibit strong professionalism, and be involved with each of the various projects. Coordination and communication with the Foreman are vital skills and critical to the success of this position. The Apprentice position may require weekend work, night shifts and out of town travel. Ideal candidates will represent Bosch Building Technologies in a professional manner that aligns with our values of leadership mindset, people development, team, and client focused.

  • Additional industry certifications a plus
  • Ability to obtain Hilti, Fall Protection, Scissor/Boom Lift, Confined Space Certifications

Nice To Haves

  • Postsecondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an asset
  • Vendor Certification in low voltage systems is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Wearing proper uniforms and boots
  • Having proper tools on your person as well as in your bags to ensure you can do your job
  • Pulling trade-specific cabling as directed by Foreman
  • Clean up at the end of the day, making sure all cables are neatly coiled throughout the jobsite, all trash picked up, tools clean and put away
  • Perform installation per Paladin standards
  • Keeping job site clean
  • Other duties as required. More may be added as they are identified.
