Apprentice Service Plumber
About The Position
1-Tom-Plumber NW Chicago is seeking experienced, licensed apprentices (3+ years preferred) who are eager to grow into journeyman roles. We’re a fast-growing plumbing company specializing in emergency service, drains, and excavation. We’re building a team of professionals who want a long-term career. We are a 24/7/365 emergency service commercial focused plumbing franchise that bolts onto water restoration companies. We are seeking customer service oriented team members, who appreciate a family atmosphere! Regardless of your level of experience, you must be ready to constantly learn and better yourself.
Requirements
- Illinois licensed apprentice plumber (3+ years of experience strongly preferred).
- Strong technical skills and the ability to work efficiently under supervision.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Team-first attitude, strong communication, and customer service skills.
- Must live within 30 minutes of our shop (Lake in the Hills, IL).
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Handle service calls alongside licensed plumbers, with opportunities to run jobs independently as your skills allow.
- Perform plumbing repairs, drain cleaning, and installations with top-of-the-line equipment.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers.
- Maintain work vehicle and tools in excellent condition.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service.
