Requirements
- Mechanically inclined and enjoys working with their hands
- Dependable, punctual, and motivated to learn
- Safety-conscious and willing to follow established procedures
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Professional and respectful when working in customer locations
- Able to lift equipment and materials and perform physical work as required
- Interested in building a long-term career in refrigeration/HVAC
Nice To Haves
- Previous construction, mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, or trade-school experience is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of commercial refrigeration systems and equipment
- Learn to install refrigeration piping, components, controls, and electrical connections
- Assist with setting equipment, condensers, evaporators, walk-in coolers/freezers, and related systems
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Learn to read equipment manuals, installation instructions, and basic mechanical drawings
- Assist with pressure testing, evacuation, charging, and system start-up
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices
- Work closely with senior technicians to develop troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Provide professional service and maintain a positive relationship with customers
- Continue developing technical knowledge through hands-on training and company-supported education
