About The Position

Apprentice Plumbing and Domestic Heating. Based at our regional office in Belmont, Durham, with set days out in the community and to attend college. This is a 51-month fixed-term position with the potential for a permanent role at the end. Requirements

• Achieved GCSEs in English and Mathematics grades 9-4 (A-C)
• Are IT confident, or at the very least have a basic understanding
• Are keen to learn and develop new skills for example, communication both, verbal and written
• Share our values, want to make a difference, and thrive in a team environment
• Are organised, curious and willing to ask questions
• You don’t need previous experience; we’ll support you every step of the way.

Responsibilities

• Learning how to install, repair and maintain domestic plumbing and heating systems
• Assisting with safety checks and following gas safety regulation
• Diagnosing faults and helping to fix issues in customers’ homes
• Safe working practices and risk awareness
• Work safely, following health and safety guidelines
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues, showing care, respect and good timekeeping
• Progress through applying learning, working safely and gaining independence toward qualified status.
