About The Position
Roto-Rooter is North America's largest plumbing, drain cleaning, and water cleanup services provider. The Apprentice Plumber role offers paid training, ongoing instruction through the company’s plumbing school, and guidance through the plumber licensing process. Apprentices earn while learning the trade. Compensation is commission-based with a guaranteed minimum hourly rate and averages between $60,000 and $120,000 per year. Pay increases with each year of experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical aptitude is desirable.
- Prior plumbing experience is not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose plumbing and drain issues and offer cost estimates to customers.
- Make the necessary repairs for customers.
- Document estimates and invoices in writing and on a provided smartphone.
- Collect payment and proceed to the next service call.
- Provide effective solutions for plumbing and drain problems while ensuring customer satisfaction.
