About The Position

Baker Brothers Plumbing, Air & Electric is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice to perform basic plumbing tasks, assist plumbers, and provide respectful, attentive customer service. The role includes on-the-job training, shadowing, and learning while following workplace procedures and health and safety guidance. Apprentices complete assigned tasks and develop skills toward obtaining further plumbing licenses or certifications. Requirements

• Valid Texas driver's license and five years of experience with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Six to twelve months of residential service apprentice experience.
• Solid interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Desire to learn and become a licensed plumber, with willingness to study for an exam.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes.

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers in completing work orders and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Organize materials as instructed.
• Unclog and clean sewers and drains for customers under supervision.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and courteously during field duties.
• Observe all safety requirements.
• Communicate professionally while in uniform.
