About The Position
Plumbers install, inspect, and repair plumbing pipes and systems in commercial buildings to ensure building fixtures operate correctly. The position involves working on commercial new construction and/or renovation projects and ensuring installed systems pass inspection.
Requirements
- Recent experience in commercial new construction plumbing and/or renovation.
- A current state-issued apprentice or journeyman plumbing license.
- Hand tools required for plumbing.
Responsibilities
- Inspect plumbing and pipes.
- Review blueprints and schematics.
- Follow local and state plumbing codes.
- Measure, cut, and assemble pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures using mechanical soldering, brazing, and pipe-joining methods.
- Use hand, measuring, and power tools common to the plumbing trade.
- Ensure installed pipes and systems pass inspections.
