About The Position

Raley's is hiring a Meat Cutter Team Member to assist with day-to-day operations in the Meat department. The role is suited to someone who is passionate about food, attentive to detail, customer-service oriented, and able to help maintain food safety and sanitation standards. The team member supports department operations, merchandising, quality control, and sales while providing customers with helpful food knowledge. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Be friendly and customer-service oriented.
Be self-motivated, with strong attention to detail, quality, and presentation.
Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.
Work independently, manage time effectively, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Read, understand, and follow verbal and written directions.
Reliably meet the required work schedule and adhere to the company attendance policy.
Be able to perform physical activities that may include extended standing, sitting, lifting and stocking up to 50 pounds, pushing, keyboarding, telephone use, walking, and bending.

Responsibilities

Assist the Meat Team Leader with department tasks.
Cut and trim meat to company standards for retail sale.
Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service.
Share food knowledge with customers and Team Members.
Follow food safety, safety, and sanitation policies.
Support day-to-day department operations, merchandising, and quality control.
Drive department sales while managing shrink and expenses.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
