About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking an entry-level Apprentice Jeweler to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. The position provides a full training program to develop skills toward becoming a Bench Jeweler, with opportunities to progress from apprentice to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Candidates with basic jewelry or jewelry-repair knowledge are welcome, and candidates with a passion and desire to learn the trade will also be considered.

The apprentice learns the business from the ground up, performing administrative and customer-service duties while training in the basics of jewelry repair, including polishing and quality control. The team is dedicated to delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills.
• High standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and time effectively.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Full-time schedule is 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Some knowledge of jewelry, jewelry repair, or jewelry design.
• Passion and desire to learn the jeweler trade.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and interact with stores and customers.
• Complete administrative and clerical tasks.
• Photograph jewelry for intake and tracking.
• Learn basic jewelry repair, beginning with polishing and quality control.
• Train toward becoming a Bench Jeweler.
• Contribute to custom jewelry design and repair services that deliver a customer-first experience.
