About The Position

Foodland Super Market, Ltd. is seeking an Apprentice Fish Cutter to join their team. This is a part-time position (24+ hours) with a pay rate starting from $17.94. Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred, and candidates with open availability will be prioritized. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/or carry up to 75 pounds.
Must successfully pass apprentice/training program (applies to apprentice only).
Must have TB Clearance.
Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

Ensuring the seafood cases are well-stocked with fresh, high-quality seafood products for customers.
Receiving, stocking, cutting, preparing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, and attractively merchandising seafood department products.
Implementing proper inventory control and product rotation to maximize product freshness and availability while minimizing waste.
Attending the service case.
Assisting customers with special requests and answering questions about seafood products.
Helping to increase sales by offering product samples and recommending additional items.
