About The Position

We combine deep local expertise with enterprise-level resources to support grid reliability, system upgrades, predictive maintenance, and emergency response across Canada and the US. Bopat Electric is accepting applications for Apprentice Electricians to support commercial electrical construction projects. This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to learn the electrical trade, gain hands-on experience, and build a long-term career in commercial electrical construction, working alongside experienced electricians and foremen.

Requirements

Strong desire to learn and grow in the electrical trade
Basic mechanical aptitude and strong work ethic
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical job duties
Commitment to safety, teamwork, and professionalism
Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

Previous construction, electrical, mechanical, or trade experience preferred but not required
High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

Assist electricians and foremen with commercial electrical installations and job site activities
Help install conduit, wiring, boxes, switches, lighting, and other electrical components
Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Work closely with experienced electricians while developing electrical knowledge and trade skills
