About The Position
Apprentice Electrician (Commercial) needed in Montgomery County, PA. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems under the supervision of a journeyman electrician in a commercial setting. Responsibilities include assisting with new wiring installations, lighting, parts replacement, running conduit, and terminating devices. The apprentice will also help troubleshoot and repair electrical issues and equipment.
Requirements
- Adhere to all safety codes, protocols and regulations
- Must have 2-3 years working in the electrical field in commercial settings
- Must have attended electrical schooling
- Commercial electrical experience required
- Must be able to manage the completion of individual electrical tasks given
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be comfortable working with heights
- Must be able to lift heavy objects
- Must possess a positive attitude, and have strong communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Able to read blueprints, rough in MC cabling, run conduit, and wire/terminate devices is a plus
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems under supervision of a journeyman electrician in a commercial setting
