About The Position

NEXT Electric, LLC is seeking a full-time Apprentice Electrician in Madison, Wisconsin. This position is specifically for active apprentices employed by an electrical contractor and is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship. Under direct supervision, the Apprentice Electrician will assist electricians in performing electrical work, including running wire or cable according to job specifications, using power tools to drill holes for routing cable or wire, and installing basic electrical components such as receptacles and switches. The role also involves delivering equipment to job sites and complying with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

Current Wisconsin Electrical Apprentice License
OSHA 30 hour or ability to obtain
Acceptance into ABC Registered Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program
Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, drug test, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.
