Requirements

1+ years of hands-on electrical experience
Basic understanding of how electrical fixtures work
Client service or customer service skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to learn quickly through instruction or observation
Willingness to learn on the job and take direction
Valid driver’s license
Ability to meet company standards for pre-employment background and drug screening

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a residential setting preferred

Responsibilities

Assist in the layout, installation, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in residential homes
Follow instructions from licensed electricians and learn proper techniques through hands‑on training
Support the installation of outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, panels, and other electrical components
Help troubleshoot electrical issues under supervision and learn diagnostic methods
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly handled
Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members about project needs or updates
Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and specifications
Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
Assist with testing electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance
Load, unload, and prepare materials and equipment for daily job tasks
Observe and learn how to complete tasks independently as skills develop
Provide general support to the electrical team on service calls and installation projects
