About The Position

Dentalcare Group is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Dental Nurse to join its friendly, professional team. The role offers full training and support toward a recognised dental nursing qualification and General Dental Council (GDC) registration. The apprentice will work closely with clinicians and the wider practice team, gaining hands-on experience in clinical and patient-facing duties across NHS and private dental services. The programme includes training and coursework, with the opportunity to progress to a qualified Dental Nurse role upon completion.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn and commit to completing the dental nursing qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists and hygienists during a variety of NHS and private treatments.
• Prepare and maintain clinical rooms in line with infection control standards.
• Decontaminate instruments and manage cross-infection protocols.
• Support patient care before, during and after treatment.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Support reception duties when required, including patient communication and booking appointments.
• Participate in training and coursework as part of the apprenticeship programme.
