Carpenter / Carpenter Apprentice Paragon Construction Company Commute to Midlothian, VA (Required) | Full-Time | Onsite At Paragon Construction Company , we build high-quality outdoor living spaces including custom decks, screened porches, sunrooms, and exterior renovations that homeowners are proud of. Requirements
- 1+ year of construction, carpentry, framing, general labor, or related experience preferred
- Basic understanding and ability to demonstrate experience in the use of construction tools and job site safety
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately, transfer the measurements to material and cut the material correctly
- Willingness to learn and grow into a carpenter role
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Responsibilities
- Assist in building custom decks, porches, and outdoor living spaces
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Measure, cut, and install materials accurately
- Support carpenters and team leads on active job sites
- Help maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Learn carpentry skills and construction best practices through hands-on training
- Contribute to projects being completed on time and with quality craftsmanship
