About The Position

Kings Engineering has exciting opportunities for our next intake of Apprentices, commencing in December 2026 for our 2027 Apprenticeship Program. If successful in gaining one of these sought after opportunities, you will embark on a structured training program with potential for site placements across the Bloomfield Group and can expect to work in a caring environment where your learning is guided by experienced tradespersons, supervisors, and managers. As an Apprentice Boilermaker, you will learn how to: Maintain a safe working environment Read and interpret technical drawings Operate welding equipment Perform a range of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG and Stick Modification, repairs and upgrades to mobile and fixed plant General fabrication, welding and assembly of structural steel and components Safely operate workshop equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes and tools

Requirements

Access to your own reliable transport to and from site
Possess strong mathematical aptitude with a minimum of Year 10 completion prior to commencement of Apprentice Program
Demonstrate a genuine passion for your chosen trade
Take pride in the quality of your work
Be able to work independently, as well as contribute to a team
Be reliable for full-time working hours Monday to Friday and some weekends
Be committed to completing and passing all practical and theory-based study requirements of your Apprenticeship
Comfortable working at heights and in a physically demanding environment
All applicants must be able to evidence their Right To Work in Australia.
