About The Position
As an Apprentice Bartender at Pinky Ring and The Vault at Bellagio, you will begin your journey into luxury cocktail service while supporting two of Bellagio’s most distinctive nightlife experiences. Working alongside experienced bartenders, you will assist with bar preparation, stocking, and service execution while gaining hands-on experience in cocktail craftsmanship, guest engagement, and elevated hospitality. In these sophisticated and high energy environments, you will play an important role in creating memorable experiences for guests while developing the skills needed to grow a successful career in the beverage industry.
Requirements
- Is 21+ years of age
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
Nice To Haves
- 1+ years of experience in a high-volume resort setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist the bartender with preparation of drinks, mixes and garnishes
- Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar area
- Maintain sufficient stock of all items and products in designated work areas
- Ensure proper set up, labeling, stocking and delivery of alcohol, non‐alcoholic beverages, supplies, glasses, paper products, garnishes, and ice
- Clean equipment, tools, supplies, polish glassware and ensure equipment is in working order
- Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment
- Promote and maintain the highest level of service to all guests while staying alert to their needs, and respond effectively to guest inquiries
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
