About The Position
Maritime Helicopters is seeking applicants interested in a career in helicopter maintenance. This apprenticeship offers on-the-job training with experienced mechanics, which will qualify you to apply for an FAA-issued Airframe & Powerplant license. The company will provide all necessary books and cover testing fees for the license. This is a paid position located in Homer, Alaska, with a salary increase to the industry rate upon obtaining your FAA license.
Requirements
- Documented mechanical background (not necessarily limited to aviation).
Responsibilities
- Work with seasoned helicopter mechanics to receive on-the-job training.
- Gain the necessary experience and knowledge to qualify for an FAA Airframe & Powerplant license.
