This position mainly assists the Senior Appraiser with training, the distribution of work, and review of work for the data collection and natural resource departments. This position is also responsible for assisting with new construction and natural resource assignments throughout the county. This position must be able to work in an ever-changing work environment. Other duties may include but are not limited to: Working with Data Collectors, Appraisers and Natural Resources to complete assignments, Performing a variety of work collecting characteristics on residential property, commercial property, business personal property, and oil and gas wells located throughout Weld County for property tax purposes, Inspecting residential property, commercial property, business personal property, and oil and gas wells in the field and accurately and consistently recording property characteristics in the electronic property file, Assisting with processing Personal Property and Natural Resources declarations and recording data in the electronic property file.
