Works under limited supervision to be accountable for applying a broad range of basic intermediate and advanced appraisal and assessment methods and techniques. This position is responsible for collecting expense data and income, making onsite visual inspections, conducting research, appraisal and analysis assignments, and using property characteristics to list and value properties. The role also involves compiling and analyzing market data, learning and performing standardized mass appraisal processes, and using the Tyler Integrated Assessment System. Additionally, the Appraiser handles customer inquiries, defends property values before boards, specializes in complex appraisals, teaches appraiser-related training, develops technical manuals, and prepares planning and workflow analysis tools.
