About The Position
Minnesota Urology is hiring a full-time, onsite Appointment Scheduler in Coon Rapids, Minnesota. The role schedules patients for office visits, laboratory tests, and radiology appointments, serving as a key liaison between patients, clinics, and hospitals. The scheduler coordinates communication and appointment logistics to support smooth operations and an empathetic, customer-focused patient experience. The position offers compensation of $19.60 to $24.00 per hour, with pay based on direct healthcare appointment-scheduling experience and other factors such as specialized skills, work location, and internal equity. Minnesota Urology provides training on current EMR systems for the right candidate.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least two years of appointment-scheduling experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with insurance processes.
- Experience with or knowledge of current EMR systems; training is available.
