MD Applied Research Scientist II - Translational Pathology

Moffitt Cancer Center
•$91,749 - $146,806

About The Position

The Applied Research Scientist II is a non-tenure-track researcher serving on a clinical and translational research team under the general direction of an Investigator in a Population or Quantitative Science Research Division. The role conducts research and provides related support to a faculty investigator, including presenting at scientific meetings and producing scientific manuscripts. This opportunity is with Moffitt Cancer Center's newly launched Department of Translational Pathology, led by Dr. Ignacio Wistuba. The role advances biomarker-driven cancer care through translational research, using pathology and related technologies to develop diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. The scientist designs and leads research projects, analyzes data, publishes findings, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams across the cancer center.
