The Applied AI Program Design & Delivery Intern will have the opportunity to gain real-world experience in facilitating industry adoption and knowledge transfer of AI at the Vector Institute. The objective of the internship role is to support Vector’s industry sponsors in developing, deploying, and scaling applications of AI within industry sponsor companies. Reporting to a Project Manager on the Applied AI Projects team, you will play a key role in ensuring the goals of the Industry Innovation work stream are met. Start date: September 8, 2026 End date: December 18, 2026 The applied internship program at Vector provides relevant, hands-on learning and work experience in machine learning and AI. During the paid internship, interns will have the opportunity to attend research, recruitment, and commercialization talks at Vector and connect with key stakeholders in the AI ecosystem. Applied internships may be full-time (36.25 hours per week) or part-time (20 hours per week) over the Fall academic term (September 8 - December 18, 2026) with an opportunity to continue over the Winter 2027 academic term.
