About The Position

The Applied AI Engineer uses large sets of structured and unstructured data to develop tactical insights. The engineer will work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The Applied AI Engineer collaborates with analytic and data teams to set goals, approaches, and work plans. Evaluate Experience building scalable, resilient, and observable distributed systems methodologies, approaches, and solutions. Work with and validate machine learning models and AI tools. Interpret and communicate analytic results to analytical and non-partners and executive decision makers. Begin to influence department's strategy. On moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components and performs work without direction. Exercise considerable latitude in determining goals and approaches to assignments. Use your skills to make an impact

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics or related field and 5 years or experience OR Master's Degree in a similar field and 3 years of experience
  • 3+ years of experience leveraging large sets of structured and unstructured data to develop tactical and strategic insights
  • Experience working with ML models and AI tools
  • Cloud experience

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics and/or related field
  • Healthcare or managed care experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Python
  • Azure experience
  • Experience performing data management, mining, and manipulation along with analytics
  • Kubernetes experience
  • Experience interpreting and communicating analytic results to analytical and non-business partners and executive decision makers
  • Experience driving resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area
