Applied AI Engineer
About The Position
Praecipio delivers AI-native services to enterprise clients, focusing on agentic workflow deployments, integrations, and hands-on builds. The company also utilizes these agentic systems internally to transform its own delivery, sales, and operations teams. This role involves both internal and client-facing work, with the internal projects serving as a proving ground for new possibilities and client projects driving revenue. The engineer will collaborate with a technical lead for architecture and an enablement lead for adoption, with their primary responsibility being the creation of new systems.
Requirements
- Works in Git, GitHub, and Claude Code in the terminal today.
- Demonstrated ability to ship agentic or LLM-backed systems that run in production, not just demos
- Fluency with enterprise tooling and APIs; comfort integrating with the systems businesses actually run on
- Client-facing composure: can explain what was built and why it matters to a non-technical audience
- Pragmatism about scope: ships the working version, then improves it

- An Atlassian background is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
- Design and build agentic systems for enterprise clients: workflow deployments, integrations, and production AI builds
- Build internal agentic workflows across Praecipio's delivery, sales, and operations functions
- Support advisory engagements where hands-on execution is required, sitting with clients and shipping alongside them
- Bring what you learn from every build back into the practice's shared patterns and methodology
