About The Position

Parspec is seeking an Applied AI Engineer Intern to join its AI team and work closely with Product and Engineering on real-world AI applications. The intern will apply modern AI and machine learning techniques to product problems such as understanding product specifications, improving recommendations, and exploring agentic AI workflows. The role offers hands-on experience designing, building, evaluating, and shipping AI systems using complex industry data and customer-facing workflows. The intern will contribute to AI initiatives from problem framing through experimentation and implementation, and will work with Senior Applied AI Engineers and Product Managers to translate customer problems into technical approaches. The work supports Parspec’s efforts to help construction stakeholders interpret product specifications, evaluate materials, identify suitable products, compare options, and make procurement decisions. The position includes mentorship, meaningful product ownership, and opportunities to learn through regular feedback and collaboration.
