About The Position

SharkNinja is seeking an Applied AI & Analytics Associate to join their Data, Analytics & AI team. This is a problem-solving role where the associate will work directly with leaders across the company to address critical business problems and drive decisions. The role requires thriving in ambiguity, proactive initiative, cross-functional collaboration, and a focus on delivering clear insights quickly. The associate will contribute to high-impact analytical work, helping SharkNinja leverage data and AI for better decision-making. This is a hands-on role based in the Miami office, offering significant ownership and measurable business impact.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or consulting with a demonstrated track record of analytical delivery.
Hands-on experience deploying or building with LLMs, generative AI, or automation tools.
Strong working command of SQL and Python for data manipulation and scalable analytical solution building.
Proficiency in building dashboards and analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Clear communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior stakeholders and explain complex analysis in plain language.
Demonstrated ability to structure a complete analytical approach for ambiguous business questions.
Experience managing multiple workstreams and delivering against timelines with limited oversight.
Previous project or program management experience, including managing scope, timelines, and cross-functional coordination.
Understanding of impact orientation, connecting analytical work to business results and articulating changes driven by analysis.
Experience contributing to adoption of tools, processes, or approaches by teams.

Nice To Haves

Background in consumer products, retail, or e-commerce.
Experience with advanced statistical methods (experimentation, time-series analysis, applied ML).
Hands-on experience with large-scale data infrastructure (designing data pipelines, working with cloud platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks).
Prior exposure to working alongside executive or senior leadership teams.
Experience identifying and solving systemic problems.

Responsibilities

Partner with VPs and Chiefs of Staff on analytical questions requiring structured problem-framing, data modeling, or clear recommendations.
Contribute to multi-week analytical initiatives from scoping through delivery, managing expectations and timelines with senior stakeholders.
Build and maintain dashboards, decision-support tools, and analytical models to enhance senior leader effectiveness.
Utilize LLMs, AI automation, or machine learning to accelerate personal analysis and assist other teams.
Identify performance tracking gaps and propose practical improvements in collaboration with finance, operations, and product teams.
Work with teams to adopt analytical approaches or tools, fostering broader adoption and impact.
Introduce improved analytical methods and tools to enhance output quality and consistency across teams.
Clearly communicate findings to senior stakeholders, translating complex analysis into straightforward, business-outcome-focused recommendations.
Connect data from multiple functions to surface insights that individual teams might miss.
Support and review work from junior analysts or co-ops, contributing to their development.
