Requirements
- Mechanical ability
- Proficient use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Ability use CAD software (e.g. Solidworks)
Nice To Haves
- Microsoft Word and Excel
- Testing to EIA Standards
- Machining and knowledge of electrical systems
Responsibilities
- Adjust equipment based on the tooling and the customer’s specific technical requirements
- Program PLC and HMI for operator use on 9700XY model.
- Communicate customer needs and design requirements to Engineering department
- Provide internal and external support.
- Support customer’s technical problems pre- and post- product sale and determine a solution for quality and productivity
- Supply data-based literature to support Zierick equipment for a specific application, this includes but is not limited to manuals, data sheets, et cetera
- Generate product notes on how to implement specific functionality of a product
- Ensure reliable operation of application, identifying root causes of issues and determining mitigation options and solutions
- Troubleshoot internal and external applications
- Contact and communicate with outside vendors and customers
- Manage APIN (Applicator Inventory), including, but not limited to cycle counts, relabeling, and quality checks.
- Perform conceptual or run-off testing that is quantifiable
- Perform special projects, as needed. This may include supporting outside departments and production.
- Adhere to document control practices
- Follow safety procedures
- Inspect components and ensure quality
- Assisting in Engineering research, testing, and development
