About The Position

The Applications and Systems Support Specialist I plays a key role in supporting and maintaining Care Dimensions' information systems and technology applications. Reporting to the Senior Director of Information Technology, this position collaborates with IT leadership, staff, and end users to implement, evaluate, troubleshoot, and optimize systems that support operational and clinical functions across the organization. The role requires strong technical expertise, independent judgment, and the ability to deliver effective training and support to employees.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two to three years of IT experience, with healthcare and clinical information systems experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware, software, data processing practices, and information systems.
  • Proficiency with PCs, laptops, Apple iOS, Windows, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience implementing, testing, and troubleshooting software systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to create and maintain process documentation and instructional materials.
  • Experience providing training and technical support to non-technical users.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA security requirements and healthcare technology standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
