About The Position
The Metallus Internship Program is designed to immerse students in a team environment, offering opportunities for skill growth, leadership development, and networking with managers and leaders. The program provides real work experience and supports career readiness through workshops on resume building and interview preparation. This specific internship focuses on providing hands-on experience with various coding types in a manufacturing setting, including rewriting interfaces in newer technology like .Net Core and assisting with upgrades to third-party applications.
Requirements
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Must have completed 30 or more credit hours by the end of the spring 2027 semester
- Must be a full-time student attending an accredited two-year or four-year college/university
Nice To Haves
- Preferred majors: Computer Science or related
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on experience for students to see various types of coding used in a manufacturing company.
- Rewrite interfaces in newer technology (e.g., .Net Core).
